Bankruptcy Creditors Sometimes Lose Their Children’s College Education Money When Trying To Help Other People!

Hey, thanks for stopping by. If you're new here, go to the top right of this page & get subscribed FREE to my email updates. That way, you'll never miss out on other credit repair "secrets" I'll hand you on a silver platter!

Bankruptcy creditors are NOT just nameless, faceless big corporations that write off bad debt and go back to business as usual. What happens to personal responsibility when a creditor is a normal person who loses his children’s college education money by trying to help people who file bankruptcy?

In the forums the other day, I received the following question from a member about bankruptcy and getting hired after filing bankruptcy:

bankruptcy-forum-question
I didn’t expect to answer as I did. I thought it would be a quick response, until this question stirred up painful (personal) memories.

I never expected to share something personal with you. Something so personal it has challenged my faith in other people.

Today’s post is the most difficult post I’ve written. Click ‘read more’ below to get the rest of this story that is more about personal responsibility than about bankruptcy.

WHAT IS PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY?

Credit Repair After Christmas Dream Hands California Woman A Much-Deserved Christmas Miracle!

Credit repair after personal & financial tragedy left Simone Wallace of Riverside, California, unable to enjoy Christmas last year. “Emotionally and financially, I was one foot in the grave with no hope for tomorrow,” says Simone.

credit-repair-after-christmasonlinefriendsSimone’s life fell apart in 2007.

Her 7-year marriage ended in divorce.

She lost her job.

And she charged up a staggering $19,885.45 in credit card debt.

The bills continued arriving in the mail each and every day…just as bills always do. She knew divorce was inevitable in her failing marriage but she didn’t expect a job loss and out-of-control credit card debt.

Simone’s life was spiraling out of control, at what is supposed to be the happiest time of the year!

She wanted the debt collectors to go away & she wanted her old job back.

In a few days it would be Christmas, her favorite time of year. To family & friends, she appeared fine…cheery & hopeful.  On the inside, she was a total wreck…depressed & desperate.

Tis the season to be jolly. Not this year…not for Simone. Clearly, Simone needed a Christmas miracle.

For now, I want you to know Simone rebounded in 2008. As bad as life had beaten her down in ‘07, she never gave up. She never lost hope.

For now, this is all I’m allowed to share of Simone’s incredible rebound from personal & financial tragedy. I promise I’ll share the rest of her inspiring story. I’m so proud of Simone.

The real purpose of this note is to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Many of us have experienced a challenging (to say the least) 2008.

In Florida, my kids are dreaming of a “white Christmas” but the closest they’ll get this year to a white Christmas is the video below:

And when it comes to “This Christmas,” I can’t think of anyone else whose voice matches Chris Brown’s in”This Christmas.” If only Chris’ video were more than movie magic:

Credit repair after this tragedy or that tragedy requires faith, strength & focus. Simone’s faith, strength & focus rewarded her with an unexpected early Christmas gift…more than Simone’s ever could’ve imagined! I will share her amazing (and inspiring) story with you. Amidst the daily anguish, I needed Simone’s story to lift me as well.

Merry Christmas to each and every one of you.

Credit Repair After Getting ‘Hooked Up’ Helps Detroit’s Calvin M. Get His Cell Phone!

Credit Repair After Getting ‘Hooked Up’ Helps Detroit’s Calvin M. Get Exactly What He Always Wanted But Couldn’t Have.

questions-ask-meCalvin desperately wanted a real cell phone, not a pay-per-go cell phone where they soaked him for $0.29 per minute. This is the pitiful truth about bad credit.

Bad credit means higher rates and rejection!

In Calvin’s case, he simply wanted a real cell phone. He didn’t care about some credit score. He didn’t care about memorizing the FCRA or the FDCPA. He wasn’t looking to buy a house.

He just wanted a damn cell phone from a one of he big-name wireless providers–and he was sick and tired of getting rejected.

That’s where I come in. Calvin asked for help. I helped him, and to his amazement (and appreciation) he was approved for the exact phone and plan he wanted. DONE!

And he couldn’t believe just how easy it was…after all that frustration and anger.

Now, it’s your turn! What is one credit-related question you’d like to ask me.

Bad Credit Credit Cards…Adding Good Credit…Collections…Bankruptcy…Avoiding Foreclosure…Judgments…Inquiries…Identity Theft…Budgeting…Work At Home Scams…”The Secret”…Settling Collections…Credit Repair Companies…anything!

My Credit Check Reveals Horrifying Glimpse Of Future Foreclosure Meltdown…Just When We Thought It Couldn’t Get Any Worse!

My credit check shot me a horrifying glimpse of the future. For millions, the future looks very grim…even horrifying!

I thought we had found the “bottom” of this foreclosure meltdown casting over 1 MILLION homeowners out of their homes.

Today, I’ve discovered I was wrong.

We are not at the bottom. In fact, unless our politicians take sudden and drastic action, we will see an 800% increase in foreclosures!

Un-believ-able!

my-credit-check-foreclosure-mess1

For those of you who are loyal readers, you know I’m a “glass half full” kind of guy. I (try to) see the positive and good in everything…even credit repair and real estate. However, what you see above is absolutely horrifying!

  1. Over 1 MILLION people right now are in full-blown foreclosure!
  2. 4 MILLION people are behind on their house payment!
  3. 720,000 jobs LOST in the last 4 months!

How is foreclosure and job losses  affecting you? ….family members? …friends? …colleagues? What are your thoughts about this economic & real estate meltdown? Please leave a comment below.

My credit check reminded me of just how bad conditions (probably) will get before improving. That, my friend, is flat-out scary. If you have questions about foreclosure or a short sale settlement, please call me. I’ll do whatever I can do to help you or someone you care about.

Repair Credit Fast ‘Secret’ Saves Chicago Woman $1,346.85 & Stops Greedy Debt Collector!

Repair credit fast secret rewards Desiree Brockhouse of Chicago, IL, who keeps $1346.85 in her pocket and stops another desperate debt collector’s annoying phone calls.

Most people have no clue how to dump illegally reported (& re-aged) accounts…the accounts that hang on despite expired statute of limitations.

Chances are, you have at least one re-aged (older) account showing up on your credit reports. Chances are, you’re getting unwanted debt collection calls…even the automated

Desiree wants to know how to handle a collection around 17 years old. Seventeen years old?

When I saw this email, I instantly questioned whether Desiree had made a mistake in asking me about a “17 year old” collection account.

First, could she really have a 17-year-old collection account hurting her scores?

  1. Why isn’t a 17-year-old “collection” charged off?
  2. Why are you even bothered by a 17-year-old collection?

Desiree claims to get phone calls “…everyday by two collection agencies, I still have not spoken to anybody as they are automated calls.”

Oh, okay, I get it now. When Desiree mentioned the phone calls from debt collectors on a 17-year-old debt, I knew exactly what was going on. And to think, Desiree was ready to throw away $1,346.85. How happy do you think Desiree was when I handed her the answer on a silver platter?

Click the “read more” link below if you want to discover Desiree’s $1,346.85 solution.

Credit Repair After Running Up $46,789.00 In Credit Card Debt Exposes San Diego Woman To Potential Fraud!

Credit repair after running up $46,789.00 in credit card debt exposes Susan B. of San Diego to potential fraud…something potentially worse than credit card debt and bad credit. When it comes to debt “management” & debt “settlement” programs, Susan’s mistake is typical…and dangerous.

Susan might be in trouble…and she doesn’t even know it…yet!

Below is the full email I received from Susan B. of San Diego, CA. From the facts shared with me, Susan clearly believes she signed up for a program she’s not getting.

Management vs Settlement?

What’s the difference, you ask. LOTS!

If you’re considering a debt “management” program to help you with out-of-control credit card debt, read carefully and understand you might not be able to afford to confuse “management” with “settlement.”

Susan’s email:

“Please help me. I owe roughly 46,789.00 in credit card debt. I recently have signed up with a debt management company that promises to have me debt free in 30 months. I’m scheduled to pay $596.00 for the first 6 months and then $894 for the remaining 24 months. My understanding is that my deposits will go into an account to pay these three credit cards off, and that the program requires me to make an upfront payment (in installments) of $3,734.00 (it’s 100% refundable within the first 6 months of my beginning the program).”

“My understanding was that the debt collectors would stop calling me. They still call me continuously…all the time. They’re getting meaner and threatening. I’ve stopped answering the phone. I’m not using credit cards anymore, but I’m beginning to think I don’t know what I got myself in to.”

“I realize my credit is screwed, but I just want the phone calls to stop and to be debt free. What does this sound like to you? Am I just being paranoid for no reason? Should I tell the debt collectors that I am paying them back and to call XXXXXXXXXX (”debt management company” name withheld).” –Susan B., San Diego, CA

Credit Repair After Foreclosure Leaves Scars More Tragic Than Bad Credit Scores!

Credit repair after a foreclosure is not even on most people’s radar. A foreclosure leaves people emotionally lifeless! They simply don’t have the desire, tools or stamina to face more “BAD.” For a while at least, most people who have gone through HELL just want to withdraw from from anything negative (read: BAD). They’ve had enough.

Robert just lost his home to foreclosure.

It didn’t have to end this way.

Robert and his wife have two small children who know something is not right at home.

Two weeks ago, Wells Fargo took this family’s home away from them…Robert, his wife & two children are just four more victims in this economic meltdown.

Robert and his wife and two young children stole away in the middle of the night, fully aware the Sheriff would show up the next day to forcefully remove them from their home.

Into the night they went…

…their small children unaware this would be the last time they would sleep in their own beds…

…unaware this was the last time they would play on the swings in their backyard…

…unaware they’d not see their neighborhood friends again…ever!

Click “read more” to hear the good news about (avoiding) foreclosure and the bad news about Robert & his family’s slipping into the dark.

Credit Repair Fast Secrets Hand Tasheba M. Of Orlando, FL, The Good Credit Life…Once And For All!

“Repair credit fast promises cost me lost time and money,” says Tasheba M. of Orlando, FL. “Within 41 days, I added 74 points to my credit score. The best credit for me is the credit that never gets in the way of my life.” -Tasheba M. Orlando, FL

Tasheba is 100% dead on!

People spend time debating credit scores, when the BEST score is the transparent credit score that allows you to live your life without ever thinking about your credit scores. That 3-digit score is worthless! Don’t worry about some number.

All that’s important about credit scores is for that 3-digit number NEVER to get in your way!

For years, I’ve helped people improve their credit. What started as one detailed email lesson to one subscriber of my Credit-Success list has grown into thousands of subscribers, a membership site with a monthly newsletter & a book and videos.

With each lesson, I focused on responding to specific questions about credit & credit repair issues subscribers emailed me.

Subscribers asked about removing LATES; how to stop nasty debt collectors’ threatening phone calls; how to settle collections without getting screwed; how to add good credit & what kind of good credit to add.

And on and on.

Yet, most people didn’t even know what credit problems they had. All they knew was credit rejection, payday loans & living off cash. Many couldn’t get a checking account.

For all they knew, their credit problems condemned them to a life prison term.

They were amazed when I began sharing step-buy-step, easy-to-understand solutions to their credit repair problems. Below, I’ve grabbed 29 common credit issues cracked open in my book, The Busy Person’s Credit Makeover.

Click “read more” to see the 29 most common credit issues subscribers have asked me.
