Bad credit repair advice sometimes give you enough RED flags to keep you from disappointment or worse…getting your disputes flagged or sued!

This is B-A-D in so many ways!

And I’m trying to be kind.

Watch this video below. Please overlook all the spelling errors in the video. That’s not the worst part of this inadequate (and potentially dangerous) advice.

Connie L. of Provo, Utah, jumped at the chance to improve her credit scores.

A guy calling himself “creditrepairmaster” on YouTube caught Connie’s attention (see video above).

Apparently, Connie called him, took his advice & now is forced to respond to a summons.

Connie is being SUED!

When Connie contacted me for help, I quickly advised her to get an attorney who specializes in Federal Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

If you’re being sued, don’t waste time contacting somebody like me: I’m not an attorney. You need an attorney. And for heaven’s sake, please don’t go the “pro se” route (that is, don’t go it alone).

Connie sent me the YouTube video above titled “Step-By-Step Credit Repair.” According to Connie, it was this video that first caught her attention (see above).

Connie, Where’s The
Step-By-Step?

Connie admitted the title “step-by-step” caught her attention.

She also admitted the thought of easy, step-by-step credit repair urged her to contact this creditrepairmaster.

Unfortunately, there’s nothing step-by-step to this video.

Unfortunately, there’s also nothing “good” to this guy’s advice. See for yourself below:

Dangerous credit repair advice hurts YouTube viewers!

What you see below is my response to CREDITREPAIRMASTER’s “poor” advice. Always, I try to remain professional when responding. Even so, I don’t expect my comment to remain active once CREDITREPAIRMASTER discovers (and deletes) it.

Credit repair STRATEGY is better advice than simply recommending bankruptcy!

When you’ve watched it, please tell me what you think about the video. What’s dangerous about this guy’s advice? Would you contact this guy for help based on this video or his website where he apparently wants to teach people to run a credit repair business?

Credit-Repair-Master & Credit
Repair Organizations Act

I hope this “creditrepairmaster” starts his “teaching” with a clear examination of the Credit Repair Organizations Act.

Please tell me what you think of this video before you click away. If you can, please explain how people get brainwashed to believe credit repair or credit improvement is so easy. How do people get to the point they believe they blindly can fire off a bunch of worthless dispute letters and magically improve their credit?

Seriously, I cannot understand this. I spend more time reading emails from people who want me to give them (or pay for) a magic dispute letter template they can fire off.

Bad Credit Repair “advice” can get you sued! Beware the “experts” pushing dispute letters as a magic pill. For the umpteenth time, I say this: There is NO magic dispute letter to buy or download. It is NOT the letter; it’s the STRATEGY that improves your credit. STRATEGY….

DHL-lavel_Nr.zip email virus could rip apart your computer and throw you in to an identity theft nightmare!

Warning: PLEASE do not open any enticing email attachments from strangers…even strangers pretending to be DHL!

What you see below is the exact email attachment Monique A. (a Credit-Success member) opened (see below):

Dangerous email attachment preys on curious, uninformed people!

Monique emailed me the other day asking about this DHL email attachment (see above).

I too have received this exact email…many times in the last few months. For some really bizarre reason, Monique OPENED IT!

What the h*ll!

“Why, Monique, did you open it?” I asked her in a follow-up email.

Her response, “I thought my parents had sent me a package.”

If you know me, you know I’m not judging (or scolding) Monique. Hell no. If you recall, I’m the stupid one who left his wallet sitting in plain sight on the center console of his unlocked car with windows rolled down while playing basketball at a park with friends back in the 80s.

I lost my butt to identity theft over that act of stupidity.

I really don’t want to see you or Monique suffer what I went through.

Do you know what this virus does? Unless I totally lose my head, I will not take a chance opening or clicking on (unknown) attachments or links.

Please go below and leave me a comment or question about ID Theft. If you have faced ID Theft, please share your experience unless it’s too painful…in that case, I understand.

Whether DHL or UPS, this email virus scam is searching the Internet for careless “double clickers.”

DHL email virus attachment is just another attempt to mess with you. PLEASE download and update a virus protection software (a really good FREE one is at www.AVG.com). Also, turn on software firewall even if you have  a hardware firewall in your router.

How to fix credit after a financial tragedy throws people into two groups: those who make a plan quickly following disaster and those who stick their heads in the sand…for years.

grief-stricken-lady-take-controlKaren Myers of Port St. Lucie, FL, has more than suffered her unfair share of “loss”

She’s lost her job of 9 years.

She’s lost her savings while trying to find a job.

She’s lost her car to the repo man.

As if Karen hasn’t suffered enough, she’s losing her home of 7 years to foreclosure.

Karen should be emotionally and physically devastated…this kind of loss typically rocks most people to their very core…for years.

Not Karen. She remains upbeat, relying on her faith to provide her every need as she takes part-time work to pay the bills.

For now, this is what Karen has to do. To give her some breathing room, she’s filing for bankruptcy protection so she can remain in her home and save some money.

Karen knows she’s not alone…hundreds of thousands of others are suffering right along with her. The difference is that Karen has a plan, though she knows not what tomorrow holds.

Daily, this is the kind of story I hear…the tragic stories of people just like Karen and MD (below) who yesterday were enjoying their “normal” lives only to have the rug pulled out from under them today.

Foreclosures. Bankruptcies. LOSS…LOSS…& more LOSS. Where (and when) will this end?

In my credit forums at Repair Credit Fast, a person named “MD” indicated she/he is going through divorce, soon to be followed by a foreclosure. More loss…more confusion.

With all that’s going on, MD needs help making difficult financial decisions guaranteed to have long-lasting effects.

Click the “Read More” link below to get my response to MD’s questions about

PLAN TO FAIL OR FAIL TO PLAN?
