$3 THOUSAND BUCKS in just two weeks for just emailing out from home!? Why isn’t every single person’s BS detector going off as loud as a smoke detector sitting on my kitchen counter as I’m trying to cook?
Anyway, here’s the rundown on how these scams typically operate.
STEP #ONE: These scammers contact soon-to-be victims with enticing job offers through spam emails, letters, newspaper jobs advertisements, Internet chat rooms and even job search websites where many of us offer way too much information about us. We make it way too simple to destroy our lives (see below):
STEP #TWO: The scammers convince the victim to come and work for their fake “company”. Some scammers even have these victims called “mules” sign official looking “contracts of employment” (see below):

STEP #THREE: Once “hired,” these “mules” will receive money in their accounts…however, this is stolen money, and the victim unknowingly is laundering stolen money! (see below):
STEP #FOUR: Mules are then asked to forward using a wire service a big portion of this money in their accounts to an overseas account. The banks investigate & report suspicious account activity, often seeing mules’ accounts suspended and mules arrested.
And these victims never knew what hit them! (see below):

Of course, the scammers/fraudsters get away with the victim’s personal information that gets sold on the Internet and/or the victim faces criminal charges (money laundering is illegal).
