Bad credit repair BLOG predicts death of blogging, as Generation X curses reading and writing and endorses Twitter, Facebook & YouTube.
Can't BEAT a well-read person who writes well!
For 16 years, I taught high school English…from remedial to honors.
Do you think I know kids (and grown-ups) don’t want to read and write…just 2 of the traditional 3 R’s?
Today, an AP wire story grabbed my attention, titled “Is blogging a slog? Some young people think so” at www.excite.com.
Surprised? Shocked? Disappointed?
I’m not surprised that “…(people) don’t find reading that fun….”
Regularly, I hand people all the credit repair help they NEED to improve their credit and finally get what they want from improved credit.
So what’s the problem?
The problem is that people don’t want to read how to do it, even if it’s step-by-step. They want to improve their credit. They want that new home or car or debt collectors off their back or that new job when they know the employer checks credit.
But they DO NOT want to do what they need to do. They still think they can pay some credit (dis)repair company to fix their credit for them…only to discover the shocking reality (that I’ve been telling people for years).
I’m also not surprised people don’t like to read or write, as suggested in the AP story:
“It’s a matter of typing quickly. People these days don’t find reading that fun,” the 18-year-old student says. She loves Facebook and has recently started using Twitter….”
“Blogging is actually a quite involved form of self-expression. It takes a lot of time and effort,” says Eszter Hargittai, an associate professor of communications studies at Northwestern University.”
The quick, easy crowd-not just Generation Xers-struggle with college classes, my college professor friends claim (rather, LAMENT). People want to be entertained.
Speaking of entertainment, I have a reeeeeeeeeeally eye-opening (and short) video for you to see. Please check it out & share your thoughts below:
Tell me, how do you prefer your “education,” regardless of topic? Are reading and reading comprehension difficult for you? Would you prefer all VIDEO, or is that difficult (and boring) as well.
“There is no need to education. It is not that you read a book, pass an examination, and finish with education. The whole of life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning.” -Jiddu Krishnamurti
Bad credit repair BLOG continues searching for the elusive EASY BUTTON. When I find it, I promise to send it your way. Should I “tweet” you? …”Facebook” you? …or email you? Oh, I got it…how ’bout I shoot you a video & toss it on YouTube? How’s that sound? Please take a moment & scribble me a short comment below, perhaps scolding me for suggesting you write or think or read this ridiculously long post. Just kidding

NOTE: The limitation period is tolled (stopped) for any period during which the debtor is absent from the state and each time a voluntary payment is made on a debt arising from a written instrument.
