Every day, I hear from people who want something that improved credit demands.
Naturally, most people hope I have the “easy button” for them, with some people genuinely disappointed when I tell them there is NO SUCH THING as a credit repair easy button. 
What is your “it”?
What do you want that demands “good” credit?
Most people want:
- New Home – they want the keys to their new home
- New car
- Good night’s sleep – if you have credit issues, you know exactly what I’m talking about.
- Freedom from debt collectors – after days and nights of debt collection phone calls, you want to yank the phone off the wall and never hear another ring again…ever again.
- “Real” cell phone and not a TracPhone
- “Real” credit card and no more secured credit cards – you want to rent a car or book a plane seat. Sorry, they don’t accept cash. To be fair, some people can’t even qualify for a secured card.
Employers Reject Bad Credit Applications…yes, they can!
Perhaps more seriously, more and more people can’t get hired with bad credit.
If you haven’t heard, more and more employers are checking credit before hiring. In their minds, your credit translates into whether you can do your job well enough…without distractions.
Obviously, employers pulling credit want to hire people without credit issues.
However, I believe there’s a better way to handle credit issues with prospective employers…and so does a top HR Director who has many years’ experience hiring people. In the 2nd issue of my newsletter THE BIG EXPLOSION this top HR Director confirms my strategy and provides tips of which I hadn’t thought. It’s powerful and proactive – much better than crossing your fingers and hoping HR doesn’t pull…doesn’t see…or doesn’t care.
That’s a horrible strategy.
From employers, I hear this and other reasons (explanations). Bottom line: with your permission they can pull your credit and reject your application based on credit…if they choose.
