Bad Credit Repair Reveals Powerful, Little Secrets Yielding Big Results!

Bad credit repair shows DIYers Craig & Melissa how to take advantage of little-known (and easy) secrets to improve their credit and grab the keys to their new home.

Melissa first contacted me.

Melissa’s husband Craig did most of the talking.

Craig and Melissa were motivated and committed to improving their credit. They wanted to buy a home.

One problem: they already had stumbled through 2 different credit “repair” companies and now their scores were lower than before they paid money.

Of course, they were skeptical from the first email.

Most people don’t know the truth about credit (dis)repair companies. They think they can hire a credit (dis)repair company to fix their credit…and that’s all it takes.

Craig and Melissa had no clue how (most) credit repair companies work. Just because the credit repair company uses “law firm” in its name doesn’t mean a lawyer is handling your file.

What it means is that you signed up to have “rounds” of (dispute) letters blasted to the BIG 3 on your behalf. Dispute letters…that’s what this article is about.

Craig & Melissa discovered the cold, hard truth about (most) credit disrepair companies - blasting rounds of dispute letters is like throwing mud at the wall - it’s all about seeing what sticks.

BUT it’s worse than that. It’s not just throwing mud at a wall and seeing what sticks. It’s throwing mud at your neighbor’s house. If/When you get caught, there will be hell to pay.

DISPUTE LETTERS SHARE LITTLE SECRETS

Here’s what you need to know: Big 3 credit reporting agencies (Equifax, Transunion & Experian) constantly are trying to catch you using template dispute letters.

When they catch you, they can flag your attempted disputed, mark them as frivolous & prevent you from disputing them again…even if your disputes are 100% VALID disputes.

Hear this: Template dispute letters are GARBAGE!

Unfortunately, most people (and some credit disrepair companies) simply fire off worthless template dispute letters. And then people like you wonder why the BIG 3 ignore your disputes or flag them as frivolous or respond with “verified as accurate” response letters.

  • Don’t use business labels. Many credit (dis)repairĀ  use pre-printed labels to facilitate their assembly line dispute letter mailing blasts. Horrible mistake. Easy for bureaus to detect and respond with “verified as accurate” letters.
  • Don’t mail dispute letters on the same day. Credit (dis)repair companies fire off “rounds” of dispute letters to big 3 credit reporting agencies on the same day. Instead, send dispute to Equifax on the 4th of the month; to Experian on the 7th for instance & Transunion on the 12th of the SAME month. Bottom Line: don’t fire off disputes to BIG 3 on same day.
  • Mail your disputes certified mail, return request requested from YOUR zip code. Send CMRRR to create a paper trail — yes, it costs to mail CMRRR but you must follow these guidelines to catch BIG 3 in attempts to blow you off.
  • Handwrite all your addresses for disputes to get your letters past theĀ  “checkers” who sort dispute letters.
  • Dispute & delete your old addresses as moving often is NOT something creditors want to see. To creditors, moving often and job hopping suggests instability, whether or not it’s accurate.

Yes, the BIG 3 will attempt to blow you off.

Why?

Many times before I’ve explained WHO the BIG 3 are. For those of you who don’t know, the BIG 3:

1. Operate as private, for-profit corporations
2. Make TONS of money off your bad credit.
a. Charge creditors for your credit reports. That is, a person with bad credit applies for credit 3x more often than a person with good credit. Person with good credit applies 1x and gets approved.
b. Sell you credit reports.
c. Sell your credit info to businesses that want to make offers to you.
3. Do NOT want you to improve your credit. You are a profit center for them.

Craig and Melissa were lucky…just losing their money. It could’ve been much worse

1. They could’ve gotten their disputes flagged as frivolous.

2. They could’ve gotten sued. NOT using strategy before blasting off “rounds of template dispute letters” gets people sued.

3. They could’ve gotten their identities stolen. When you hire a credit repair company, you give up ALL your most private information to total strangers. In over 10 years of helping people, I know of people who have been sued as a (bad) result of a credit (dis)repair company. Yes, I also know of people who have been hit with ID Theft.

Many people contacting me want to grab the keys to their own homes. That’s exactly why I put together my 8 SECRETS TO A 680 CREDIT SCORE! @ repair credit fast. In all the years I’ve been helping people buy homes (I’m a realtor in case you’re not aware), I see the same credit issues on most credit reports. It’s not difficult to get a 680. Best of all, you don’t even need a 680 to bank qualify for a mortgage.

Bad credit repair requires you get informed and develop a strategy. Remember, you don’t need A+ credit to get whatever it is you want from “good” credit. Craig & Melissa didn’t care about A+ credit either. Wonder how it feels to improve your credit (enough) to grab the keys to your new home? Ask Craig & Melissa.
