Debt collector gets called out for strong-arming debtor, whose lack of debt knowledge makes it easy for debt collectors to score quick, easy paydays.
Debt collectors know you don’t know your rights.
Debt collectors know they can intimidate you into paying up…without questions or debt validation.
What would you do if a debt collector showed up at your front door, spewing four-letter words at you? What would you do? Check out a YouTube video below exposing one dirty Jacksonville, Florida, debt collector.
Notice To All Dumbass Debt Collectors: Paybacks Are HELL! I like how this debt collector gets his “payback”….
Click Read More below now to hear how Attorney Craig R. Lewis would “go after” this (Florida licensed) debt collector. To STOP dirty and abusive debt collectors means all of us MUST know our rights…or else!
STOMPING THE DIRTY DEBT COLLECTORS
Every day I get a call or an email from someone getting squeezed by a debt collector. It seems debt collectors are turning up the heat on people.
More and more debt collectors are strong-arming people who may or may not owe a debt. Do you think debt collectors care that you aren’t the right person…or that you have rights? If you don’t know your rights and how to stand up for yourself, the debt collector WILL WIN!
- What do you know about debt validating or Statute of Limitations?
- What do you know about judgments?
- What do you know about Fair Debt Collection Practices Act?
To stop dirty debt collectors and help you improve your credit, I put together a CD 8 SECRETS TO A 680 CREDIT SCORE! I don’t want to see you (or anyone else) get squeezed by debt collectors and two particular traps debt collectors absolutely do not want you to know. One trap allows debt collectors to go after you for years longer than legally allowed…and 99.9% of people have no clue they’re getting screwed!
What you see below is LEGAL discussion regarding this debt collector’s tape-recorded threats. to you and me, what this debt collector did BREAKS the law…at least many laws.
Can a “debt collector” threaten to F*** you up?
This is the question Attorney Craig R. Lewis addresses below in his easy-to-understand analysis on one of my favorite blogs: www.CreditSlips.org:
“Fortunately, in this case, I think they will be reachable. This company is licensed with the Florida Office of Financial Regulation as a “money services business,” and accordingly they are bound by Fla. Stat. § 560.309(10), which provides:
If a check is returned to a licensee from a payor financial institution due to lack of funds, a closed account, or a stop-payment order, the licensee may seek collection pursuant to s. 68.065. In seeking collection, the licensee must comply with the prohibitions against harassment or abuse, false or misleading representations, and unfair practices in the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, 15 U.S.C. ss. 1692d, 1692e, and 1692f. (emphasis added). A violation of this subsection is a deceptive and unfair trade practice and constitutes a violation of the Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act under part II of chapter 501 (emphasis added). In addition, a licensee must comply with the applicable provisions of the Consumer Collection Practices Act under part VI of chapter 559, including s. 559.77.”
Additionally, I think that even absent this provision, I could easily convince a Florida court that threatening to “f!@# [someone] up” should be considered a deceptive and unfair trade practice, and as such will subject this company to damages under the always useful Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUPTA) (emphasis added).”
With respect to the Federal FDCPA, however, I could not agree with you more. Creditors should be subject in general to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and we should not be forced to look to additional provisions of law in order to prohibit this sort of conduct.”

Craig R. Lewis, Esquire @ http://www.floridacollectionlaw.blogspot.com/
Debt collectors don’t get paid until somebody pays. That someone might as well be you, even if it’s not your debt or even if the debt isn’t verified. It doesn’t matter. Go below now to leave a comment. In no way am I condemning all debt collectors, just the dirty ones like the guy exposed in the video.
