“My Credit Check…” Question Turns Into Un-believ-able Reunion With Two Former Students!

“My credit check….” What starts as a credit question from a Credit-Success inner circle member ironically turns into a most unlikely reunion! Is this serendipity or what?

Melanie, one of my Credit-Success subscribers, emailed me the other day to ask a question about a recent credit check.

In her email, she mentioned she had discovered some cool band with a unique sound named The Luke Andrews Project.

Huh?  Momentarily, I stopped…Luke Andrews?

Suddenly, it hit me. I knew (of a) Luke Andrews.

Could this be the same Luke Andrews?

Back when I was a high school teacher, I taught a talented kid named Luke Andrews.

Thanks to Google, I found what I was looking for.

There in front of me was THE one and only Luke Andrews…a slightly older Luke…the same Luke I had had the privilege of teaching back in high school :)

Un-believ-able! Out of the blue….totally unexpected…I saw one of my former students in an awesome music video singing an awesome song, “Work It Out.”

Oh and there’s more to this pleasant surprise that makes this discovery even more special, thanks to Melanie. But first, please check out this music video featuring one of my former students Luke Andrews of The Luke Andrews Project:

What do you think? Leave me a comment below. Of course, I’m biased :-) I LOVE Luke’s music…what a unique sound just as Melanie mentioned. Is this a small world or what????

I don’t know Melanie beyond her membership, yet she’s reunited me with not just one of my former students but two of my former students. Yep, that’s right…two! :)

At the end of the video, I caught the credits. Right there in front of my eyes was the name “JP Eason,” another of my former students…another of the nicest, most brilliant and creative kids you’d ever hope to meet (or teach). Wow!

JP produced Luke’s video…and I’ve since reunited with JP, who’s now in Washington, DC, producing wonderful videos…married to another of my former students, Kelsey.

Un-believ-able!

In all I do today, my interest is helping people. Karma is beautiful. :-)

I’m still a teacher (at heart), and Melanie could not have handed me a more special gift than to share Luke’s music video with me, allowing me to discover two former students.

“My credit check…” turns in to a reunion! Amazing, huh? For Melanie, she had no idea her credit repair question would reunite me with two former students living their dreams. This is a teacher’s dream gift…to hear from former students and to be remembered. :)
