My Credit Check Left Me Feeling Hopeless Until I Discovered The Real Secrets To Repairing My Credit!

REBECCA’S MIRACLE BEGINS HERE

QUESTION: “Was it because last year I paid off older hospital bills that were on my credit report? TransUnion and Experian have me between 620 and 638, and the only other credit I have is my car payment, which I’ve never been late on.”

RESPONSE 1: Rebecca, paying off the doctor bills doesn’t remove the payment history from your credit report. That negative information can stay on your credit report for seven years from the initial report of that delinquency but they don’t have to stay on your reports for 7 years.

I showed Rebecca how to recover from an uninformed move by paying off collections without negotiating first. In my book, Rebecca discovered Statute of Limitations, re-aging, etc.

QUESTION: “Also, I am an authorized user on my mom and dad’s credit cards. Does that help or hurt me?”

RESPONSE 2: YES, an authorized user account definitely will improve your credit provided your parents keep up with their bills and the payment history is reported on your credit report.

QUESTION: Will it hurt to apply for a secured credit card? If that application is denied, will it lower my FICO score? I have no other credit besides my car payment. The doctor bills that were on my credit report now are paid off. I’ve been renting my apartment for five years and been employed at the same job for four years.

RESPONSE 3: A secured credit card is a great way to rebuild your credit. However, not all secured cards are the same.
